Judith Dean
Judith is the Company founder and majority owner of Marge Magnuson Construction. Her work focuses on estimating, accounting, book-keeping, key purchase and finance decisions, as well as marketing the Company. Judith also handles the Company payroll in addition to completing subcontractor and supplier pay requests. Judith serves the critical role of issuing and negotiating subcontracts, as well as clarifying the scope of work in contracts, and making sure all of the necessary insurance requirements are met and maintained throughout the project. Judith volunteers on a weekly basis, reading to inner city youths at Minneapolis Public Schools and also assists in its reading program.
Joseph Dean
Joseph worked as a carpenter apprentice at Adolfson & Peterson Construction from 1966 – 1970. From 1970 to 1975 Joseph served as a construction superintendent for A&P on various projects in New York, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. Joseph worked for Dean & Associates as a project manager, estimator, and superintendent from 1975 until 2007. Joseph has worked for Magnuson since 2011.
Michael Dean
Michael is a graduate of the University of North Dakota and has a bachelors degree in Financial Economics. Michael spent summers in college working as a laborer, carpenter’s assistant, and tender for masonry crews. After college he spent three years as a commercial credit analyst working in the banking industry. He currently works for Magnuson as a project manager, assisting in the field, and coordinating with owners and design professionals.
